Merry Christmas friends and family! We are hoping you had a very merry Christmas and wishing you a happy New Year! Our family celebrated our third Christmas in Cambodia. We all agreed this was our favorite one ever.
We took a little day trip to Banan Mountain with a few friends. We enjoyed the hour drive through the countryside and an afternoon climbing around temples and enjoying playing outside.
Christmas Eve, our neighbor and friend Carol, invited us to a small party in her home.
She spent a lot of time making food and preparing a special spread for her guests!
She printed out song sheets and we all sang Christmas carols in Khmer.
Savanna and one of her little friends from the YWAM base.
Happy Birthday Jesus! We are so thankful for this time of year to pause and reflect on what a perfect gift you are. You are the reason we live. We are thankful for the joy and hope we have in YOU!

Merry Christmas to our children.
Thankyou to everyone who sent some extra Christmas money for our family. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner at the local Battambang Resort.
There are so many ways to give and bless others here in Cambodia. We had been thinking for awhile who our family specifically wanted to bless. And there is a small youth group consisting of 9-10 young adults from Svey Kong who volunteer so beautifully. We notice the ways they so humbly serve every Sunday and throughout the week. Most of them are missing parents that are present in their lives, as well as very poor home conditions. So we wanted to bless them this year.
We absolutely love each one of these young people. We are grateful to have relationships with them during this season of their lives. May God be ever close to them and may their lights shine bright in their little corner of the world.

We invited them to our home for a Christmas party. We made lots of yummy food for them, played a few fun games, gave them gifts and sang together. A few of them cried when they opened their presents. We want to thank everyone who has given extra to our family specifically during the Christmas season. We were in turn able to bless others as well.

We want to THANK all of our friends, family and donors who have stood by us throughout this year! So many unknown changes, not just for our family, but for us all. We want to thank you for believing in us and our family to carry Gods truth here in Cambodia. We are so grateful for this opportunity and understand what a privilege and blessing we have been given. God has been so very good and kind to our family. We give Him all the glory and honor. We love each one of you!
Please feel free to reach out to us anytime!
